The Lakelands Community House has been designed to provide a place for the local community to interact with each other. It features a large open plan family room ideal for group activities as well as a smaller boardroom for both formal and informal meetings, with a well equipped kitchen to provide for catering needs. There is also a beautifully landscaped backyard with a decked cabana, large sandpit and play area for young children..
This facility provides an interim venue in which programmes will be able to develop, in anticipation of being able to relocate to a permanent, purpose built community facility within the proposed town centre.
